Recent graduate Dr. Ryan Norris accepts a position as an Assistant Professor of Astronomy at New Mexico Tech.  He will be working on instrumentation and imaging for the Magdalena Ridge Observatory Interferometer.  Dr. Norris earned his Ph.D. from Georgia State University in 2019 under the direction of Dr. Fabien Baron.  During his dissertation research, Dr. Norris used the CHARA Array to image supergiant stars in order to measure the size and evolution of convection cells on their surfaces.
