Observatoire de Paris, France
March 12-14, 2018
The 2018 CHARA Science Meeting will be held on Monday, March 12 to Wednesday, March 14 in Paris, France. The venue will be either the Observatoire de Paris or the Observatoire de Meudon. The meeting will include talks on recent advances in instrumentation and ongoing science programs using the CHARA Array. The program on Wednesday, March 14 will include a discussion about future telescopes at the Array. If weather permits, we will arrange an observing program with the great refractor of the Paris Observatory on Monday or Tuesday evening.
We are grateful to our colleagues Vincent Coude du Foresto, Pierre Kervella, and Gilles Duvert for their help in making the local arrangements. Note that the CHARA meeting falls between the ESO workshop "Imaging of Stellar Surfaces" (March 5 - 9, Garching, Germany) and the VLTI user meeting (en francais) hosted by the Jean-Marie Mariotti Center (March 15, Observatoire de Meudon).
The number of participants is limited to 50. Please follow the link below to register for the meeting and to submit a title for your talk. Local information on the venue and nearby hotels will be provided soon.
